At least there are others struggling with the same things that I struggle with.
I went to Church-In-A-Box again on Sunday to sing a couple of songs and reconnect with the body I served for three years. It was great to say hi and catch up. I enjoy the chance to play some music from time to time.
Frankly, its been wonderful being away from the frantic pace of the institution. Life has enough things to keep me busy and I feel religion hasn’t furthered the cause of the gospel in my life.
I long for meaningful Christ-centered relationships but don’t miss the frenzy.
